Weixiong Tan is a photographer and television director from Guangdong, China. Born in 1955, he has spent over forty years working in television, producing documentary series that celebrate culture and the arts, most notably The Art Corridor for Guangdong Television.

Tan’s television productions have received multiple national awards in China for excellence in culture and art. He has also presented his photography in numerous solo and group exhibitions.

In addition to his media work, he serves as a council member of the Guangdong Photographer Association and holds memberships with the Guangdong Journalist Association, the Guangdong Press Institute, and the China Dancers Association. After his retirement, he continues to create from his home in Long Beach, California, exploring new visual language through both photography and filming.
